I am extremely grateful for the gift of life I have been granted and I know that I must pass this gift of love and joy to others via my artistic expression. I’ve lived in Orange County for the past 30 years and I am originally from Iran. I should say that I’ve grown up in Orange County, as much of my real growth, my spiritual growth, has occurred over the past 2 decades. I have come to realize that my purpose in life is to raise awareness about the vibration of this universe through my creativity and art. I mainly work with Encaustic, Mixed Media as well as three dimensional art and sculptures that encompass natural ingredients from this earth including seaweed and tree bark. I usually start with a blank wood board with a vague imagination or vision but I am always astounded by the outcome, as it seems that my hands are in the hand of a greater power and source of energy. The universe usually speaks to us in whispers and my art aims to take you to a place that allows you to listen and hear the universe speak. I believe to whom much is given is also required and you cannot have all of this and not use it for a greater good. That’s why I take responsibility for the space I have taken here on earth and I try to express this through my art as well as my spiritual endeavors and lectures in the community. I try to infuse my purpose in life in every single painting and I think my work carries the observer of everyday life into another reality by being still and aware of the present moment, because that’s all we have--the present moment.
